Good morning, afternoon or night to you where ever you may be on this beautiful day. My name is Allison, to friends they call me Alli, to my brother and close family they call me Bug, but to my kids, I AM MaBug. You see this name was chosen carefully about ten years ago when my wife and I had our first son. That’s right, we are a lesbian couple living in the Deep South of Georgia. This blog will cover some of our life such as dealing with the “good ol’ folks” who don’t agree or understand our life so I hope you look forward to reading about that. We are in our “community” what we refer to as “normal” gays, or old school. I will also be blogging about my previous profession of being a cop of just over seven years and some of the things that I noticed and what I am noticing now days. I am passionate about travel and will be sharing those experiences and some tips and tricks of what we have learned along the way. And lastly, I would like to blog about some of the things I’ve learned during my current profession which is a a manager at a family tree business. I have learned so much since 2018 that I feel I should have known in my last year of high school and no I am not talking about cutting trees, I am speaking about financial decisions that would have helped me tremendously to become financially free at an earlier age. I hope that y’all enjoy this blog and help me achieve my dream of being a content creator on several platforms, be able to work from home, travel and spend time with my family who mean the world to me.
